  • 1 teaspoon of ground cardamom
  • A pinch of saffron optional
  • 2-3 whole cloves optional

  • Boil the Water: In a pot or dallah, bring 3 cups of water to a gentle boil.
  • Add Coffee Grounds: Lower the heat and add 2 tablespoons of ground Arab coffee. Stir gently.
  • Simmer: Allow the coffee to simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes. Avoid boiling.
  • Add Spices: Add 1 teaspoon of ground cardamom, a pinch of saffron, and 2-3 whole cloves if desired. Stir well.
  • Strain and Serve: Strain the coffee into small cups and serve immediately without sugar to enjoy its authentic flavor.
